Bare Die Data Sheet: LMC555

Highly stable timer for precision timing & oscillator applications using minimal external components. As timer, time delays are produced from microseconds to hours. As oscillator, the device maintains a controlled free running frequency + duty cycle
Replaces legacy National LM555, Texas Instruments SA555, SE555, NE555 and Motorola MC1455, MC1555. Also equivalent to Texas Instruments TLC555, TLC555D, TLC555M, National LMC555, Intersil ICM7555 and Maxim ICM7555.
Features:
** END OF LIFE ** NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NEW DESIGN
  • Wide supply voltage range  2V-18V
  • Maximum supply current  200µA
  • No supply current spike during output transition
  • Option to reduce external component count versus legacy bipolar 555
  • Timing from microseconds through hours
  • Accepts higher impedance timing elements than legacy 555 for longer RC time constants
  • Operates in both astable and monostable modes
  • Adjustable duty cycle
  • Output drives TTL/CMOS/MOS
