Bare Die Data Sheet: SiS1084L-ADJ

SiS1084L-ADJ is an adjustable voltage positive 5 amp regulator including zener trimmed bandgap reference, current limiting & thermal shutdown. Output voltage is set using two external resistors. Dropout voltage of 1.5V is guaranteed at 5A load.
This bare die suits hybrid & MCM designs needing high output current, adjustable regulation & smallest size. Other than lower input voltage range, the part is functionally equivalent to the industry LM1084 or LT1084 with ~40% footprint reduction.
