Bare Die Data Sheet: LM2940-12

The LM2940-12V positive voltage regulator sources 1A output current with a typical dropout voltage of 0.5V & max 1V over the military temperature range. Quiescent current is lowered by design to 30mA at 1A output current & I/O differential of 5V.
This device is designed to operate over the full military temperature range & is well suited for high reliability applications. The device directly replaces the legacy National LM2940-12 MD8 or MW8, LM2940CT-12 MDC or MWC & LM2940C-12 MDC or MWC.
