LM120K-5 3-terminal fixed -5V negative regulator supplies >= 1.5A of current & requires only x1 external compensation capacitor at the output. Overload immunity features include internal current limiting, safe-area compensation + thermal shutdown.
This device suits hybrid & MCM designers needing high reliability with fixed 5V negative voltage regulation. This bare die replaces National (NSC) or Texas Instruments (TI) LM120K-5, LM320K-5, LM120KG-5 and LM120KG-5 MD8.
